Principal's Message

Welcome to Payson Center for Success High School (PCS) and PCS- Online High School!

The Payson Center for Success family of schools is committed to providing an academic learning environment which is supportive, positive, challenging, and rigorous for all students. Our goal is to have all students succeed in earning their high school diploma as well as creating post-secondary goals based on their personal attributes and potential. As a collective staff, we strive to provide learning activities which require high levels of critical thinking and reasoning, accompanied by the application of learning to real-world situations. Reading and writing skills are essential in all content areas for progress and success.

PCS services a diverse student population just as in any other high school learning environment. Students choose to attend PCS for many reasons which may include but are not limited to the following; accelerated learning, credit deficiency, returning back to high school after dropping out, coping with learning disabilities or accommodation plans, behavioral needs, emotional needs, gifted needs, need for a modified school day, and/or students with dependents. All students who attend PCS are a crucial part in creating a unique education plan specific to their needs, goals, and aspirations.

Being able to support students and provide a unique atmosphere conducive to a student's success is one celebrating factor with the true celebration being alongside to witness a student finding success. Each staff member at PCS is an experienced and dedicated professional who is committed to helping ALL students reach their full potential. Student success is not a matter of luck but is accomplished through planning, organization, goal setting, effort, determination, and a positive support system at school and outside of school.

We look forward to another successful school year. We believe that communication is the best way to create strong relationships between student/staff/parent/guardian. Please, ask questions, share your thoughts, and provide feedback, This is the way to make the year the best that it can be for our family as a whole.
